Bowen Hills Shed - Vietnam in Black and White at Under the old fig tree behind Hope Centre Brisbane

March 23, 2015 from 6:30pm to 8:15pm
This month we honour the stories and memories of our brave Aussie blokes who served in Vietnam, and give them the "thank you" they never heard. Indigenous veteran George Anderson and Shed Man Jeff Myers will be sharing two very different experiences of life during and after Vietnam, and we warmly invite veterans from everywhere to come and be acknowledged for their service. Please share this far and wide, but make sure you get there with a car full of mates for a very special evening.See More

G'day fella's, Shed Happens partnered with Neighbourhood Watch for 'Shed At the Beach' at Shoal Point in the Northern Beaches of Mackay last Saturday for breakfast. Plenty of good tucker with about 45 blokes turning up. As you can see from the photos, a beautiful spot with all God's glory on display. Highlights were the amount of blokes experiencing Shed for the first time, the interview with Ken, a real character and the amount of blokes who brought their sons along. We'll do it all again…

My champion friends

In my quiet time where I sit and read and talk with God about all the things I have done wrong but He continues to reassure me that He is always there and will always be there even unto the end of time. My journey then continues on during the day bolstered by that knowledge but even so I still go astray. I read this this morning and thought you champions would like to see it too.…

The power to change it all

The bus shelter has an advertising sign. A light shines behind a blue ball. Somehow the light behind this ball has, "The power to change it all" This is ironic because there is a light that has the power to change it all. It doesn't come from the random chance that numbered balls will drop in your favor. It comes from Jesus. The light that has come into the world. The light that really does have a the ability to change it all.

Greetings from Chiang Mai,

Well Thailand is still in its “clean-up mode” or so they say. Thailand used to be referred to as “The land of Smiles” (L.O.S) but now it’s “The Land of Scams.” One of such I recently experienced. I was on the return trip home after just receiving my newly acquired registration and insurance for my motorcycle (which is an annual task). The road that I was traveling by was a major highway here in Chiang Mai. My speed was approximately 65 kmh…
