Greetings

Greetings to all you champions

In my quiet time yesterday I read this post and as I read tears formed in my eyes and the stark realisation of a father who lost his son in this story and also in my post a little while ago but also The FATHER who would give up His only Son for me made me think even more deeply of this wondrous love that caused our Father to send His Son - JESUS CHRIST - to die for MY sins. My soul stirs and gives thanks but asks why would you do all this for me a SINNER…

Climb Every Mountain

Great post Watto and to you too Darryl and I pray that the both of you weill keep pushing. You are both champions.

What I have to say comes top me via a soing that we all have probably heard in our lives from Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music. I have posted the lyrics for you champions. Now when the memory of this song it came with a reminder that our Father God is there to help us to indeed climb every mountain and cross…

How to Add a Blog Post

Posted by Darryl Redden on January 18, 2015 at 9:10 5 Comments

Gidday men and particularly new members.

One of the great things about this website is you can share some of the stuff that is going on in your life. The good, the bad, the happy and sad as we say. This often gives you a chance to clear your mind and your heart simply by putting something down on paper, so to speak. In most cases you will get some kind words and encouragement in return and perhaps even some good advice.

If you are thinking about sharing something in your life,…

Say G'day to a Stranger by Ian Watson

Posted by Darryl Redden on January 18, 2015 at 8:30 1 Comment

It was a bit of a Hot one yesterday in Noosa. Margaret and I had just knocked over the Eumundi Markets and we needed a good Coffee. Just happened to be right near a couple of her favourite dress shops. So I caught up with the sports page in the paper while she went after the "Gold" Know what I mean fellas? Just as I always do , I keep my radar up. Hebrews 13:2 cause ya never know when God is going to put that stranger across ya life. Next table all alone a bloke looked the part but was…

Walking on water

Posted by Nick Ottens on January 16, 2015 at 22:30 2 Comments

I spent some time kayaking today. It was a beautiful sunny morning with a gentle breeze and the waves were reasonably gentle. It was a great time just to be still.

As I sat in the kayak and drifted for a bit, I was thinking how the ocean resembled our lives. When all is going well we have our gentle up and downs and yet when it starts getting stormy, the waves get bigger and we start to risk getting wet or capsizing and gasping for air.

As I watched the waves, I realised… Continue

Shed Stuff

Posted by George Johnston on January 16, 2015 at 7:19 2 Comments

Last night I went to the Coffee Club and met with some shed Men. I like to go and meet people and encourage people. It is good. Good Stuff happens. But last night I was the one needing encouragement. And that's exactly what I got. And this morning I am good. The thing that was bugging me will progress.

Shed your inhibitions and get to a shed. Good stuff is multiplied and magnified when Men of God get together. Come as you are, no matter what you feel like at the time.

Being verbally abused!

Posted by Martin Findling on January 14, 2015 at 9:30 11 Comments

Good post Nick. Sadly many people are out there who do not no or reject God's word. I have started my first job as a truck driver, delivering asphalt, just before Christmas. Being new in the industry, I made some minor mistakes like not positioning the truck correctly. Understanding what's been said over the radio is a bit difficult for me too, so I missed or miss understood instruction by the site manager or stopper. Even I told that guy that this is only my third day on the job, he didn't…

Solving Soduko

Posted by Nick Ottens on January 14, 2015 at 7:30 2 Comments

It's January. Time for a rest before this year gets busy. I'm having a bit of a break and found an old book with soduko puzzles in it. Turning to the back I found some super soduko puzzles and thought I would give them a go.

For those that haven't seen them, soduko puzzles are number puzzles made up of nine big boxes in a 3x3 grid with each box being divided into 9 smaller boxes. Each box, row and column has to have the numbers 1-9 in them with no number appearing twice. Super Soduko… Continue

Be Still and Know

Posted by Robert Knock on January 13, 2015 at 14:28 1 Comment

One of my treasured sayings from the bible is "Be still and know that I am God" and yet so many times I refuse to be still and take the time to know my Lord and Saviour and to smell the roses of His creation but He waits for me and when I do stop He is there for me and even as I walk so does He with me. So I urge you to read the post below.

Blessings…
