My name is Mark Nicholson. I spoke at Bribie Shed a few months ago now and again at Aspley last week. I'm an ordinary bloke, but over 50 years God tends to do some fairly extraordinary things in your life. You might call them all coincidences; for many years I did. What I want to say in short is get up and tell your story because most of us are ordinary blokes. And what you have to say will help us other ordinary blokes much more than you can know. Remember the creator of this whole universe…

Time for another heart felt shed moment...
Sitting 1000kms from home brings true to me the gift of each other. In fact, right from the beginning God has this desire for men not to be alone, ‘The Lord God said, “It’s not good for man to be alone…” Gen 2:3
So here I sit with a feeling in my heart of longing for each other. And, when you start to think about this, there are many people who are feeling this sense of distance from each other. God’s plan is that we seek each other…

I've been putting off going to the hospital, to see about my neck and shoulder; a bit stubborn I guess. Well, good news, I actually went to the hospital today. The doctor has referred me for a scan. In the meantime, they've put me on a pain management program. You fellas at SHED were enough to inspire a bloke to lay down that stinking pride that prevents a lot of us blokes from seeking help!!! I'm now well on the way to recovery, because as soon as the scan is finished, I will know exactly…

Dear Lord, don't let us miss you. Use us everyday, in a mighty way. Let us feel Your presence and Your fresh renewal, each and everyday of our lives. We thank You Lord, for the memories of yesterday, but we need to experience You today and expect great things from You tomorrow. Yesterday is gone, but today and tomorrow, we live in expectation of a new and wonderful outpouring of Your mighty Spirit, all around us. In Jesus precious name, AMEN

Hey fellas, I'd appreciate some prayer at the moment. My neck and left shoulder are really giving me curry. They've been sore for a while, but hey, not like this. God bless all of you, and thanks.

"World champ Casey gives it all up for wife and daughter."
This headline in The Advertiser newspaper over the weekend grabbed me straight away! My first thought was Casey Stoner you're a champion. Not because of your motorbike prowess but because you put your family before your career.
This was great to read on the weekend. This bloke is at the peak of his career at the age of 27 but he knows where he should be and that is being the 'real deal' husband and dad for his…

Most mornings, I sit down with my 2 1/2 yr old son and have breakfast together while my wife is feeding our little bubs. I have made a bit of a habit of reading the bible when I have breakfast in the morning. I find its a great way to start my day. Well, as my son has grown, he has watched me do this and has become curious.
Now when we eat breakfast together, we read through his little children's bible. At the end of each of story it gives the book, chapter and verses of where that…
