Last night in Toowoomba

Posted by Kenneth Hamlin on April 20, 2017 at 12:20 0 Comments

A big group showed up at the Glenvale shed for a catchup, a feed, and some GOLD. A few locals decided not to put up the tarps (as rain was looking very unlikely) and fired up the outside barbques for steaks, snags, bacon and fish. Mid-cooking, down came the rain, and after some quick re-arranging, a great feed still went ahead. As the temperature dropped outside, discussions were warming up inside the shed.…

Missionary Update April 2017

Posted by Jim Welch on April 3, 2017 at 23:10 0 Comments

Greetings from Chiang Mai,

April is the crazy month here in Thailand. A lot of the locals find that this is a good time to travel to other countries to avoid the onslaught of “Songkran” (or commonly referred to as the “water festival”). Suicide stats

Posted by Patrick Kuijpers on March 27, 2017 at 12:24 0 Comments

Interviewed a young bloke at the Landsborough Shed last week who had tried to finish his own life a couple of years ago. That is a staggering statistic in a lucky country like ours. If you ever needed a reason to promote Shed in your area, here's a good one. Blokes standing beside blokes, simple. It doesn't need to be…

Posted by Rod Loader on March 15, 2017 at 16:50 2 Comments

The following is a post I put on the social media sites LinkedIn & beBee, to share the news about Shed.

Life is tough. Men are tougher.

Isn't that how the saying goes? Men have to toughen up, they can't be soft, or can they?

Women learn that it's acceptable to be open with one…
