Today i had the priviledge of encouraging about 20 "senior" champion Blokes
at the Carinity Hilltop Gardens Kelvin Grove in Brisbane at their FIRST BBQ "shed" lunch.
Oldest Champion was 103 ,many in their 90ies, 80ies and 70ies.
Man! what a mighty time .
I got to tell them a few "stories" about footy ,trucks ,body parts ,and my Sheila.

I noticed that Eldon Oster was listed on the Birthdays yesterday .I left him a singing happy birthday on his phone.
Last night he left me a thank you message saying i,m the only bloke who sings him a happy birthday message ONE MONTH after the day of his birthday.
So he got a smile on his face and so did i.
So don't worry if you get it wrong ,do it anyway.
Maybe it was worth the fun putting a wrong date down for his birthday!!!
Yesterday as we were getting together for a family lunch to meet with a cousin's family from overseas my dad (aged 91) slumped forward in his chair and wouldn't respond. He went very pale. While waiting for the ambulance we put him on the floor and monitored him for breathing and pulse. I gave him a few breaths and a few compressions at one stage because I couldn't find either a pulse or sign of breathing.
