Water is Life / Am I Ok?

Here's a great story for ya:

We rely on rain water here. No mains water. Since we moved into our new home in october I still haven't hooked our storm water pipes up to our tanks.

Finally got to it this past weekend. Today it's rained! Had 7mm to date and still raining.

We were down to about 22000 liters. Today we've caught about 18000 liters.

God is faithful beyond measure. He always provides when we trust…

I love the lyrics that David Crowder comes up with.

Here's one of his latest songs which I reckon speaks to each of at some point.

Read the words first by themselves and then click the link

to hear the song and see the video! This will definitely warm up your Sunday morning.

Live out your dream

Hey fellas, I'm lucky and blessed to have the skills to build houses and do handyman stuff.

We've just started erecting the steel frames of our dream home. I was thinking last night and flicking back through some photos and thought how blessed we are to be able to share this experience with our family. Not only my immediate family of Lisa, Ollie and Matilda but with my parents and father in law.

God's hand has been mightily involved with this whole build process so far and He…

Well fellas I have a bit of a 'spill ya guts' moment I need to share. It happened earlier today between me my son Ollie.

We've just purchased a new computer and I've been spending time transferring information from my old computer to the new one. Well this afternoon Ollie was hanging off me wanting to be involved with mucking on the computer. He'd been doing this for quite a few minutes and it just got to me. The computer wasn't doing what I wanted and I could feel the tension…

Hi Luke,

I have attended Shed Night at Murrumba Downs with Ian Watto.  Great group of blokes and it is a great night hearing about all the stuff going on in the lives of men.  They also have the best burgers in the area. Shed is a night where a group of men who  share their experiences as well as to be there to encourage you on your journey.  There is nothing like it and I hope that you are encouraged and can make it along.  No one should be doing it alone when there is such a great group mates to come along with you.  Cheers mate

Sure thing Luke, I really enjoyed going to shed night on Monday. It gave me a chance to meet with like-minded men and learn a bit about other people's god journey and just be with a group of people where they're all equal. For me that is one of the most important things, to go to a place all men are equal and you can voice your opinion and not be judged.
That was my experience.

Hey Luke, nice spot down there eh, we had a drive around there a few years ago, we've got some rellies inthe Ad. hills and Moonta. We got a 5 yo boy. I moved here to take a job teaching apprentices- thought it would be a great opportunity to have some input into young mens lives, but i'm struggling a bit with it! Hope you have a great day tomorrow...

Hi Luke, I've been going to a shed in Perth with Peter and Morro, and are now starting our own in Mandurah, 1hr south of Perth. A big call for us, but really believe a need for it and know Gods got it covered.
Troy.
