SHEDNIGHT // SHEDHAPPENS... for Real Men... champion sons of the KING OF KINGS!

SHED NIGHT // SHED HAPPENS is for MEN to support one another. “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”. Proverbs 27:17

I sit here tonight at my computer feeling in pain, I have found relationships hard work like many other men I expect. In a last dich effort to gain some sence of hope I loged on to the Shed site to here what other men are facing in life and seeking some glimmer of encouragment. For me God is my all in all however it is hard at times to feel like a Champian when all you feel is pain. To here some of the stories and know that God has a plan for every man and Women and family seems like it was ment for everyone else yet it is for all us that realise we are lost and in need of a saviour, i Thank God for the victory we all have in His Son Jesus.

We all have our battler in life and dont have to face them alone, the out come may not always be what we might want however you can be assured it will be mighiter than we may expect. It is during these tough times God does His best work so trust like you have everything to gain because you do. Thanks for the stories.

Wayne, thank you for sharing your pain with us and I know that many of us will be asking our God to send healing, strength and courage to you my friend. Takes a champion to cry out in pain... God bless you mate.

With this in mind, we often forget the God has his finger print on everything and I am reminded of a message that talks about a man looking back over his life as foot prints in the sand. He notices that in all the difficult, painful times of his life that there is only on set of foot prints.

This image causes the man to cry out to God saying why did you abandon me in my times of greatest need, Lord. The answer, as you may recall, sticks in my mind when I struggle with the pains that life dishes out, "No, No my beloved one. There is only one set of footprints because in these times I did not abandon you, I carried you."

I hope you feel that you are being carried, Wayne. Cheers, JA

If you are hurting and God seems to be far away it can be because when we hurt sometimes all we can feel is the pain. Imagine someone has fallen over and hurt their leg. If they were in great pain they may not see concerned people standing by ready to help. I want you to be encouraged and know with absolute certainty that you are not alone and can be healed of any pain in time.

I had something revealed to me during the week as I was hurting, although nothing new it was something I hadn't meditated on for a while. Lately it has been hard for me to identify with a God who sometimes seems so far from me particularly when I'm hurting deep inside. The difference is we have a God who came to earth in human form, he was put to death for us. What made this hit home for me is knowing Jesus felt pain and hurting as the burden of the cross came closer to him so he knows what is like for us when we feel pain and hurting. Speaking out scripture never fails Rev 12:11 They overcame ... by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony. Walk on knowing we have a God who cares. A. PS Isaiah 60:1-4

Wanye - you've come to the right place to look for encouragement. We're with you mate. Remember, God will never allow you to go thru anything you can't handle - he will allow it in order to bring you closer to him. Keep seeking him and you will find healing. Chris.

Thanks Wayne for your thoughts. We're all with ya on this site and we'll continue to remind you and other blokes that you're a champion son of the king. I had a friend the other day say some inspiring and reassuring words to me about our battles. He said, "that through our crap times in our lives, if we keep searching, we will then find the treasure" (or answers we're looking for). Don't give up mate! Keep sharing. God is in all, like you said!! GB, Luke.
