SHEDNIGHT // SHEDHAPPENS... for Real Men... champion sons of the KING OF KINGS!

SHED NIGHT // SHED HAPPENS is for MEN to support one another. “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”. Proverbs 27:17

Well finally i made it to a Big Shed Day recently.  Had a wonderful day catching up with friends, even caught up with Darryl from South Australia.  Spoke to him on this medium and now I have met him in person.  Watto was awesome once again.

I was able to sit in with Peter Janetski talk on breast cancer and I found that  very moving and it really pointed out the need for our women to have our support in a whole range of issues....the small ones and the major ones. I felt for Peter as he talked through this and I admire his courage and his family's courage in a very trying time.

There were many enjoyable interviews but the most interesting was with the deaf gentleman (sorry I did not get a name) but his story was worth the trip and worth the listen.

I was soooo moved about the day I called my son (Russell) in Melbourne to tell him I was there.  Russell was the one who wanted me to going in previous years, now he is in Melbourne.  I wish he was there this year to share the experience with.  I did however have my son in law Paul with me which was super good.

If you are thinking of going next year.....i highly recommend it.

Great stuff mark. I love hearing your fired up heart flow through the words on this site. I didn't get there this year but hearing your take on it has given me a kick along this morning. Keep firing mate. Dint let the fire be extinguished. Gb Luke

Thanks for putting your thoughts forward Mark. It was good to meet you as well, although I am not from South Australia but Deniliquin in N.S.W. That doesn't matter though. It was a good day to catch up with old friends and make new ones as well as getting sharpened by the stories of the blokes out the front. Hope to see you there next year. Darryl
