SHEDNIGHT // SHEDHAPPENS... for Real Men... champion sons of the KING OF KINGS!

SHED NIGHT // SHED HAPPENS is for MEN to support one another. “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”. Proverbs 27:17

I just want to say a big thank you for the opportunity to go to the Better Blokes camp this year. The past few weeks had been tough for me as my Mum had just passed away, I had been her career for many years and I miss her so very much. Having some great mates helping me and encouraging me has been great in helping me with this sad time.

During the camp I was able to meet more great Blokes that have helped me more to stand up and be a man, and not the mouse that I have been for so long. Blokes that have given me some straight talk when I needed it, and helping me to learn to read and write. I had not been able to do that while I had to look after my mum. God has been a part of my life for a long time but now I have good Godly blokes to stand beside me and help me learn more about God. I am saving up so I can go next year, but I want to say a big thanks to the blokes that helped me get to my first Better Blokes camp. You are all Champion’s. See you at camp next year.

Hey Kimball -- you are a champion mate and I believe in you. Anyone who has a caring heart that is strong enough to share the hard stuff is a blessing in my eyes mate. Keep moving forward and you will be in my prayers and thoughts... GBU cheers, JA

Thanks Wayne, for uploading Kimball's blog, it makes me thankful that I can read & write, I pray that soon Kimball will also be able to read and find peace and happiness in the Lord's word,

And Wayne, please  thank Kimball for having the strength and commitment to have been the  carer for his mum, and  to put his own life "on hold" to care for her

It was truly a pleasure to share the Better Blokes week end with you Kimball. Even though I didn't actually spend heaps of time talking with you, you touched me in the elective we did together with Keith Bourne. By hearing a little of your story there and your awesome mates you have around you was truly an inspiration. I'm sorry to hear of your Mum passing and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Keep pushing on mate. GB, Luke

Kimball, I saw and spoke to you many times at Better Blokes. It was a pleasure to meet you. I am really glad that you had a wonderful time there and you were able to learn more about God. I am sorry to hear that your mother had died. When you love someone like your mother so much it is only natural that you will miss them very much. In time the hurt will pass but the memories will be there forever. Regards, Darryl
