Part two of this blog starts where part one finishes.... this blog is on travel by coach.
As a traveller, I often need to use an alternative means of transport - for me, my alternative means is by coach. I was lucky enough to be able to start my coach travel "career" with a local Dubbo-based operator called Ogden's Coaches when I went to Sydney for a concert with Brooks & Dunn. This trip depicted above was to see one of my favourite Irish singer, Daniel O'Donnell, in Canberra. This is with Langley's Coaches. I have been fortunate to do many other trips with them in the past, including two trips to Tamworth. This particular coach we had on this trip is a 2007 Scania K480EB 6x2*4 - there is a little piece of history in this coach as it was the first European chassis to come into Australia as a 6x2*4 (6 wheels, 2 driven and four steered - front and tag axles steer). It originally got slated into service with Australia Wide Coaches in Adelaide wearing SA rego XNU346, then it was transferred to Alexandria in NSW and re-registered TV5594. After the Alexandria transfer, it was transferred to Langley's Coaches Dubbo still registered as TV5594 and here it is in all the glory and loving Langley's can give it. Langley's has just acquired two 2005 Mercedes-Benz O500RF-3 coaches and all the tours for them from another Dubbo operator, Ogden's. There is nothing Langley's can do - give them a call on 02 68828977 (68828977 within NSW) and talk to them!
